Kittens of Caracat F1, F2, F3 VIPLEO

You can see Caracat F1, F2, and F3 kittens in these photos. Let me tell you in brief what figures next to "F" letter mean (i.e. 1, 2, 3, etc).
F1 stands for a hybrid, and the figure indicates the generation of Caracal. F1 is the first generation hybrid of a caracal. Its dad is a caracal, and not less than 50% of their blood belongs to a caracal. F2 is the second generation hybrid of a caracal. Its grandfather is a caracal, and at least 25% of their blood belongs to a caracal. F3 is the third generation of a caracal. Its grand grandfather is a caracal, and no less than 12.5% of their blood belongs to a caracal, etc. Of course, the more caracal’s blood a kitten has, the more impressive, larger, brighter and resembling it looks to a caracal by the coat type and color. Caracat F1 kittens are the largest, the most beautiful, and hard to obtain kittens. Caracat F2 kittens are smaller, but still inherited much from their grandfather caracal, whom they resemble. Their price is lower than of F1 kittens. The third generation of Caracats, like other breeds originating from a "savage" ancestor (such as Savannah, Chausie, or Bengal cats) lose much of the clear visual characteristics of their wild ancestors. This is common to each of the above-listed breeds, and the breeders’ task was to work on the further type and color. It may take more than 3-5 years to get a beautiful breed. The first F5 is not a breed yet, but rather the first steps towards it. Nevertheless, without an initial difficult step it is hard to get a beautiful, well recognizable, formally acknowledged breed, not resembling others. Anyway, both Savannah and Chausie, Caracat F1 and F2 hybrids will always look larger and more impressive than any other breed. However, it is very hard to obtain Caracat hybrids of these generations, as a result, they are expensive. That is why the future breed will definitely find its fans and be more affordable than a hybrid. Moreover, to obtain very beautiful Caracat F1 and F2 kittens, we need later generation females (F3-F5) of good quality, and pedigree male Caracats (F5, etc.).

Kitten of Caracat F3 VIPLEO
Our VIPLEO® cattery officially implements the Caracat program. We are working on getting females and males suitable for the Caracat program. This is an extremely responsible and time-consuming task, requiring a lot of effort and patience. Yet, it is a very interesting and enjoyable job. Observing the results, we want to devote ourselves to this task and develop even further in the field. As we are dealing with hybrids, our progress must be recorded officially and without breaking the law. So, our results are represented both in TICA and in CITES. Since 2015 our Caracat kittens have received all official documents, certificates of origin, and formal registration files. OUR CARACATS ARE THE FIRST CATS IN THE WORLD (!!!) registered by the international organization CITES. These are the first legal Caracat kittens in the world! Since 2016, we have been receiving CITES for our Caracat kittens regularly.
